Graphic design intern

Do you love concept development, designing, styling, and styling new collections? And would you like to support The Gift Label's design team in this process? Then this is the internship for you!

About us:
The Gift Label is a lifestyle brand based in Amsterdam. We're passionate about creating products that spread joy! We develop and design vegan body and hand care products, home fragrances, greeting cards, and baby products. These collections are designed to surprise someone with a special gift. You can find our products at various locations worldwide or online through our website.

What will you learn:
You'll learn about The Gift Label and its look and feel. This will allow you to support the design team in creating our new collections.
Your main tasks may include developing concepts into storytelling and quotes, creating pack shots, preparing artwork for print, lookbook design, and product photography.
· Designing graphics for special events, trade fairs, and personalized requests.
You will learn to work with Miro and further develop your skills in Adobe programs.
Because you work closely with our design team, there is also room to focus on the things you would like to develop further within The Gift Label.

What do we expect from you:
You are studying Graphic Design and are looking for a full-time internship.
· Mastery of Adobe skills: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
· You have a suitable handwriting for our collections.
· You can work accurately
· You can work independently, clearly and in an organized manner
You like to get things done, are stress-resistant and show initiative
· You have vision and authenticity.

Overview of activities:
· Supporting the The design team is involved in every aspect of the design of our new collections. From the initial process, research, and mood boarding in Miro, to creating pack shots in Photoshop.
· Support when creating lookbooks in Indesign.
· Support in the planning and styling of shoots.
· Create or edit images for the website, among other things.
· Support when designing for print, preparing artwork for new collections or personalisations in Illustrator or Indesign.
· Research and identifying trends and developments.

As an intern at The Gift Label, you'll truly be part of our (small) team! You'll be working in a place where you can learn a lot and where every day is a fun experience.  We'll make our own coffee, but keeping an eye on the dishwasher is nice. ;-) We offer an internship allowance, a delicious lunch every day, and of course, you'll also get a staff discount!

Possible from June, period of at least 3 months.
